- Under the terms of the agreement Lilly acquired the exclusive worldwide rights to MBP8298:
- BioMS received an upfront payment of $87 million
- BioMS may receive potential development and sales milestones up to $410 million
- BioMS will receive escalating royalties on sales commensurate with the current stage of development of MBP8298 when commercialized
- Lilly & BioMS will share in certain development costs
- Lilly will be responsible for future R&D, manufacturing and marketing activities
- BioMS will continue to oversee the current clinical trials
